DON'T FAINT

GOD'S DISCIPLINE
For consider him that endured such contradiction (hostility) of sinners against himself, unless you be wearied and faint (be discouraged) in your minds (souls). You have not yet resisted unto blood (bloodshed), striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which (was spoken) speaketh unto you as unto children (sons), MY SONS, DESPISE NOT THOU THE CHASTENING (DISCIPLINE) OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT (BE DISCOURAGED) WHEN THOU ARE REBUKED OF HIM: FOR WHOM THE LORD LOVE HE CHASTEN, AND SCOURGE EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVE. If you endue chastening, God deal with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasten not? But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards (iligitimate), and not sons. Furthermore, we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence (respect): shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they (earthly fathers) verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure (as seemed best unto them); but HE (the Lord) for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening (discipline) for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yeilds the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised (trained) thereby. Hebrews 12:3-11.

Paraphased: Because you are the Lord's child, He will discipline you; just as your earthly father disciplines you. Do not despise the Lord for his chastening; He does so because He loves you. When your earthly father disciplines you; you know that he does so because he wants to teach you to do right. You understand and respect your earthly father for the discipline; it is no more than right to give the Lord the same respect and understanding? No one wants to be disciplined...it is painful; but when you are disciplined you are trained to do the right things. Remember, our Lord shed His blood for us, He did not faint. So, I share with you...when you find that things are not going your way...don't be weary and don't faint...you will reap joy if you faint not.

It saddens me to hear and see Christians say that the Lord hates homosexuals or gays; for this is far from the truth. The Lord everyone including YOU.

A Time for Everything!

Ecclesiasters Chapter 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stornes and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a tie of war, and a time of peace. Praise the Lord!

I am one step closer to production of Theresa Johnson's Search for Her Beloved. Last night reviewed my digital proofs and did some online editing. My heart was pumping fast in anticipation as I realized that one of my dreams is actually coming to fruition. I am close to completing the second manuscript in the Theresa Johnson's saga of novels.

The KIngdom of Heaven is like:

Matthew 25: 1-13; Paraphrased
Ten virgins took their oil lamps to meet the bridegroom. With their oil lamps burning, the virgins slept; while the bridegroom tarried. At midnight, the bridegroom was coming; five of the virgins were wise, they brought extra oil with them; prepared for the delay of the bridegroom; however, the other five virgins were unprepared for the bridegrooms delay and they let their oil lamps burn out while they slept. They pleaded with the five wise virgins: "share your oil"; but the five wise could not share or they themselves would be left out; so the five foolish virgins had to run to the market to buy more oil. In the meantime, the wise virgins were ready when the bridegroom came to receive His bride; they were allowed to enter into the prepared house with the bridegroom.When the five foolish virgins returned, the door was closed to them; they cried: "Lord, Lord, let us in, open the door for us". The bridegroom, sadly replied: I do not know you.

The moral of the story is to: Be watchful, be prepared for you know not when the Son of Man (Jesus) will return for His bride.

Amazing Grace!

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me; I once was lost, but now I'm found; was blind but now I see. Words can never explain the wonder when your eyes are opened to true love. As I laid on my bed, praise poured from my very soul when my Beloved revealed Himself to me.

I read this prayer in a devotional newsletter; I wanted to share it with you:

Dear heavenly Father, again I see that it is all about relationship. As Jesus related to You in His day by day living, I want to relate to Jesus. Lord Jesus, help me to know You more and more. Getting to know You is what persuades me of Your ability to fulfill Your promises. Lord, I have many sufferings that I need to trust You to handle, from now until You return for me. In Your mighty name I pray, Amen.

23rd Psalms can be taken literally; it is personal and intimate; read it, visualize it, and accept it. So be it!

Ultimate Desire

My ultimate desire is for the Lord to say: "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant". What about you? 

Lord, your will be done.

When you pray, "Lord, your will be done"; do you understand that His will may not fall in alignment with what you are desiring?  When President Obama was running for president, a popular radio station, daily broadcasted, "Lord, your will be done"; yet, when Obama was elected, they were shocked and disappointed; they broadcasted their discontentment that the man won the election.  So, do not say, "Lord, your will be done" unless you are willing to honor His will. Amen.

Excited!!!

My first book, will be sent to publishing today! I'm so excited. Theresa Johnson's Search For Her Beloved; the story is based on the dire circumstances that Theresa endure as she searched for her one true love. I hope that you will buy it, read it, and be inspired by it.

My Prayer For You

Numbers 6: 24-26 (KJSB); May the Lord bless you and keep you: May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you: May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace. In Jesus name I pray; so be it.
